She is best known for her  Prudy stories, involving Prudy, her dog Pickles and her brother Bubba (known less affectionately as Aaaaanthony).  Her book of children's poetry, Lola, Rae and Bug is scheduled for release April of 2010.  She is working with an illustrator on her first Prudy story, due in late May.

MJ Heiser was born in the Philippines to an American Navy Mormon and a Filipina Catholic.  She came to the United States as a baby, started reading at the age of three and began to write at the age of 12.  Educated in San Antonio, Texas, MJ is an avid student of religion, politics, anthropology and technological gadgetry.  She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and their menagerie of pets and electronic devices.  Apart from writing, she spends her time walking, plotting, being silly, eating sushi and trying to not trip over something.  Her first book in the Chronicles of Jaenrye series is Corona, published first in eReader format in February 2010.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Cathleen Holst is a “Georgia Peach” whose stilettos are firmly planted in the South.  She has no desire to relocate anywhere good old fashioned sweet tea is not readily available.  She lives just outside Atlanta with her extremely patient husband, their three children and two rambunctious dogs.  Although her love of literature is not confined to one particular genre, it has always been the “feel-good” stories that have resonated with her. Calling her stories “chick-lit” does not offend her in the least.  For her, these delightful easy reads are as perfect as the cherry sitting atop a banana split.  Her debut novel, The Story of Everleigh Carlisle, will be released in November of 2010.

Mississippi native D. Scott Meek spent the first 18 years of life in the Deep South and the next 20 years educated by the world as a member of the US Navy.  Scott was an average student growing up, usually found staring out of the window drawing scenes or writing adventure stories.  He moved to Navy cryptology and deployed to the Persian Gulf 13 times.  He currently lives in downtown Baltimore in a small 85-year-old rowhouse, where he explores the rich culture of one of America's oldest cities and teaches at the nearby National Security Agency.  He has written numerous short stories, but is finally fulfilling a life-long dream of following his imagination on its own journey.  His first book, Dying Light, is scheduled for release in July of 2010.
